The hand in question was the very last hand of the Canadian Senior Team trials, and not only earned the couple the award Yeh Bros; Best Bid Deal of the Year, it also gave them the IMPs needed to win the trials for 1 IMP.

A Grand Slam in the Moysian Fit, something many bridge players dream that it happens to them.

Katie Thorpe a Bridge Journalist and IBPA member, also won the award  as the bridge journalist who wrote an article describing her achievement, award she had to share with another journalist, the editor of the csbnews.org Fernando Lema as he also sent an article describing the hand bidding and play.

Congratulations Fernando and Katie, double for Katie because she play it and share the hand later.

Below you can see the video where Katie and Martin explains to all of us how and why of each of their voices.
