It is with great pleasure that the WBF is able to announce the election of José Damiani as President Emeritus of the World Bridge Federation.
The election was proposed by the WBF Management Committee at its meeting in Milan at the beginning of March, and subsequently approved unanimously by the WBF Executive Council.
The appointment is made in recognition of the outstanding services to bridge made by the new President Emeritus. The WBF and, indeed, the bridge world, wishes to congratulate Mr Damiani and thank him sincerely for all he has done for bridge.
