Tromso, June 26, 2015

Today I woke up early: 7: 30hs and look out the window, nothing had changed from last night. Here the days and nights are identical, always the same light, very little… as it is always cloudy and the temperature is 8 Celsius degrees … because we are in summer.  🙄

After breakfast I went to the playing area, here everyone calls it “the Macks” and recently here were played the Chess Olympiads. As soon as you enter: the Hospitality Desk, always handled by the more than efficients: Silvia Valentini and Gildana Caputo. Everybody was working, an army of people preparing the place for tomorrow.

As I had the day off, I decided to walk around this beautiful city, and I got lost…I had to ask for help to return to downtown, but that’s another story.

During my walk I visited the public library, an amazing building, a craft brewery, with its outside seats with fox leathers, a Tromso” saladita”, and some shopping in the Chinese Super…I also was able to pick a selfie with a reindeer.

Dear Readers: If any of you want to send questions for a player participating in these European Bridge Championships, Tromso 2015, I will gladly include them in my interviews.

All of you can write me to my email address: ferlema@netizen.com.ar or ferlema50@hotmail.com or my tweet @ferlema57 or a simple private message in facebook.
