The Patané-Ass team: Stefano Caiti, Gabriele Gavelli, Maurizio Pattacini, Rosario Patané, Ruggero Pulga, Gianpaolo Rinaldi e Maurizio Zaffino, won, representing Bridge Val di Magra, the Italy Cup over 60. The team defeated the Caldarelli-Amici Bridge Abruzzo team by 115 to 83.

The final stage began on September 11th, and the venue was the Palazzo dei Congressi di Salsomaggiore Terme. The teams were divided in 4 groups, the 16 best groups playyed a Round Robin; and the best two teams of each group were able to arrive to the KO stage.

At the end of the RR, undefeated and on top of his group, the champion team Patané played against Garbosi-Bridge Varese de quarter finals, and against Bavaresco Padova Bridge the semi-finals.

The playoff was between Padova Bridge Bavaresco and Casadei, Padova won this match.
