A Heinlein sci fi novel with a bridge theme!

Source: swatchless.wordpress.com

I’ve just finished reading Farnham’s Freehold by Heinlein. It made me wonder if he could play a bit – the bridge is a constant theme and shows some knowledge, eg he has a line about the Italians’ bidding system. And Culbertson would have been proud of his bridge/sex innuendos.

All in all it’s a fun book, I’ve been sick while reading it and it’s kept me thoroughly entertained.

Even if you don’t like science fiction you might like this. A lot of it is set in a future world on Earth that explores what it would be like if white people were the slaves rather than the ‘masters’. I thought it was well done.
