From July 12th, 2016… Throughout 15 days in July 2016, 5000 students from 45 European countries and more than 300 Universities will compete in 21 different sports and will be part of the most beautiful sports story ever told in Croatia!Zagreb 2016 1

Bridge is traditionally well represented and covered by the media at the EUSA championships. It is also popular among Croatian students because University of Zagreb and Rijeka, as well as XV. Gymnasium in Zagreb, offer bridge as a facultative subject. Therefore, it is obvious that bridge is an essential part of EUG 2016.Zagreb bridge

Team Tournaments:

  • one (1) mixed team gender tournament, maximum of forty (40) teams.

Side Tournaments:

  • one (1) mixed pairs tournament, maximum of forty (40) pairs.

Side tournament is non-compulsory for participating teams. Entries to this tournament only are not allowed.

The competition consists of four (4) days. The General Technical Meeting (GTM), where the presence of each Head of the Delegation is obligatory, will be held one (1) day prior to the start of the competition in the afternoon hours.

ORGANIZATION

Technical organisation of competition and delegating of professional technical staff will be realised in cooperation with the Croatian Bridge Association and Zagreb Bridge Federation.
