The line-ups for the two Teams finals are now decided. All matches will be played over three 16-board segments on Saturday.

In the Open it will be USA and Israel playing off for the gold and silver medals, while Monaco and China will have to settle for the bronze medal play-off.

In the Women, the finalists are England and the Netherlands, leaving USA and China to fight for bronze. Going into the final match, it seemed that the Women’s series would have the tighter finish, however, in the event the two European teams each had big wins and were both well clear by midway through their respective matches. In the Open, however, Monaco were just ahead of Israel in the battle for second place, losing out on the very last board at the very last table in play, when Fantoni/Nunes went for a big penalty.
