After two days of Round Robin play, 11 of the 15 Round Robin teams qualified to join Fleisher in the Round of 16 to be played on Sunday and Monday. The teams in the Round Robin were very close going into the final 3 matches, with only Wolfson (Cohen, Bramley-Compton, Rosenberg-Willenken) and Becker (Liu, Miller-Wickham, McConnell-Warden) reasonably certain to qualify. Those two teams finished first (Becker) and third in the Round Robin. The Mahaffey team (Seamon, Jacobus-Passell, Lev-Pepsi) had a strong finish to come in second in the Round Robin. The Milner team (H. Lall, Bathurst-J. Lall, Kranyak-Wolpert) finished 4th. Those teams add Round Robin seeding points to their existing seeding point totals and the teams were then ranked for the Knockout stages of the event. The seeding point ranking of the teams (with Nickell, Diamond & Fleisher 1, 2 & 3 based on their Positioning Points, was:

1. Nickell
2. Diamond
3. Fleisher
4. Mahaffey
5. Wolfson
6. Spector
7. Jacobs
8. Lee
9. Milner
10. Falk
11. Robinson
12. Becker
13. Weinstein
14. Robbins

Teams 3-4, 5-8, 9-12 and 13-14 were then randomly shuffled, and the Becker team exercised its option for a redraw, ending with the following team numbers for the Knockout stage of the event:

1. Nickell
2. Diamond
3. Fleisher
4. Mahaffey
5. Wolfson
6. Lee
7. Jacobs
9. Spector
9. Falk
10. Becker
11. Robinson
12. Milner
13. Robbins
14. Weinstein

Scores from the Round of 16 will be posted to the bracket sheet as promptly as possible after each segment is completed. Two of the Round of 16 matches will be shown on BBO Vugraph on Sunday and Monday.
