South American Youth Bridge Teams Championship: U 21

Medellin, May 27, 2016

Three teams participated the South American Youth Bridge Teams Championship U 21 Brazil, Chile and Uruguay. They played a 120 boards Round Robin, divided in sets of 12 boards each.

Throughout the tournament the Chile team, with an outstanding performance from Sofia Gerstmann; showed a wide supremacy.

Second finished Brazil and third Uruguay.

The final standings were:

Chile: 199.98 VP

Brazil: 147.21 VP

Uruguay: 132.81 VP

Both Chile and Brazil acquired the right to participate in the World Youth Bridge Teams Championship: U 21, to be held in the city of Salsomaggiore (ITA) from 3 to 13 August 2016.
