K1 Team wins the Milan City Tournament

Last night the team Pauncz, from Florence was leading the event, but K1 and Lavazza were just a little further down, so everything was under discussion. Today Milan was particularly favorable to the foreign teams who came to visit her. The team K1 won the 2013 edition of the Torneo Internazionale a Squadre Città di Milano;  team K1 = Stefanov, Spasov, Nanev, Gunev, Damyanova, Aronov. The squad from Bulgaria had already proven their excellent form when last month won the silver medal at the European Champions Cup in Opatija.

Second was the italian-polish squad Goraco (Szenberg, Michalek, Macior, Milaszewski, Robak, Witek) and third in the podioum the team from Croatia Zagreb (Borevkovic, Refi, Brkyaazic, Tesla, Stankic). Lavazza (Lavazza,Bocchi, Madala, Ferraro, Bianchedi, Duboin) and Pauncz (Pauncz, Fossi, Mariani, Buratti) were 4th and 5th respectively.

Breno 2012 Champion

There have been many inscriptions of foreign federations for the Torneo Internazionale a Squadre Città di Milano. A few days before the event, there are teams from Belgium, Switzerland, England, Spain, Lithuania, Poland, Hungary, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

  The defending champion also confirmed its participation: Breno team, which this year has the same formation (Romain Zaleski, Mario D’Avossa, Giubilo Valerio Massimo Lanzarotti, Andrea Manno and Riccardo Intonti) will defend the result from last year.

Agustin Madala, Norberto Bocchi and Giorgio Duboin  will also be present, less than three months they won the gold medal at the World Bridge Team Championship in Bali, the participants will then have the opportunity to sit at the same table and play with the new world champions. Also it will be the Italian debut of Alejandro Bianchedi, the newest member of Team Lavazza.

The tournament will be broadcast live using the platform of Bridge Base Online. There will also be live updates in Bridge D’Italia Online.
