Day 1

Open: After the first two rounds of play the Associate Allegra leads the standings, 4 points ahead of the Pisan: Muller team. Very close the Romans Angelini Team is 5 points from the latter. Ladies: In the parallel women”s championship is leading the  Martellini Team of Genoa. Following a 12-point gap, Reggio Calabria Verdi, is one point ahead of Reggio Emilia: Fornaciari team. The boards of the championships were quite challenging from a competitive point of view: in the first four boards there were possible three slam, feasible or not, but certainly declarable. The rest was more normal and straightforward, but excited the many spectators present in the bridge rama, the theater of the bridge, and those connected through the network using BBO. This is only the beginning, 32 of the 112 boards to play to complete the “all against all” required by the round robin. The bridge is a sport of the mind, but it also takes a “physical beast”, to stay in the competition….
