BBO Interviews Justin Lall

25-year old Justin Lall is the youngest member the Milner team. Despite his young age he has already had a 15 year long bridge career with fantastic results. Unfortunately just a couple of days before the trials started team member Seymon Deutsch was hospitalized and they had to replace him at the last minute. (Seymon is feeling better now, according to the USBC Bulletin.) The random element has affected the team, but they still did great to make it to the Semi-Finals, with a serious chance of reaching the Finals. Milner ended up as Reese Milner-Hemant Lall, John Kranyak-Gavin Wolpert and Kevin Bathurst-Justin Lall.

Kevin and I used to be a regular partnership, but since he plays with Dan Zagorin we had to simplify much of our system since neither of us remembered it much. Hemant and Reese knew their stuff but are still a relatively new partnership.

All of that indicates to me that winning long matches is…click here to continue reading
