Chile: Bridge Youth Representatives getting ready for the SA Youth Championship in Uruguay

Six students from Cuevas Eduardo Valdes  School, Santiago Chile, will play the Southamerican Youth Bridge Championship, a discipline that begins to gain ground.

Less than two months for the South American Bridge Championship in Montevideo Uruguay, where six selected players between 13 and 14 years old, will represent Chile in the competition. This are the words of the national representatives about bridge: “this discipline helps you to stay focused and to share with other people.”

In Chile, there are 14 federated clubs which together include more than 2 000 players. Regarding the development of this activity, the school principals  said that students have shown enthusiasm and “have improved in their manners, team work and responsibility.”
