On May 9, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in the halls of Hotel Sheraton Libertador was the kick off the LXV Campeonatos Sudamericanos de Bridge. Saturday 9, at 16 pm begun the first qualifying session of the South American Pairs Championships, with 110 pairs participating in the event. Sunday afternoon was played the second and final qualifying session, the last session winners were Chagas- Villas Boas. The first 14 pairs of each category advanced to the Finals.
