2012 World University Championships

The 6th World University Bridge Championships organized by FISU (International University Sports federation) and the WBF will be held 9th – 15th July 2012.

We are pleased to invite your University teams to participate in this exciting and enjoyable event, which is to be held in Reims, France this year.

Following the very successful Championships staged in China (2006), Poland (2008) and Taiwan (2010) where between 20 and 30 University Bridge Teams took part, we would appreciate your help in making this event even more successful.

In order to enter the Championships, you need to contact the University Sport Federation of your country (NUSF): you have to send different forms stamped by the NUSF. The students from universities and high schools have to be accepted by the NUSF and can participate up to 1 year after finishing their studies. They must be between 18 and 28 years old. You can find more information on this event on www.unibridge.eu  and the FISU website at www.fisu.net . All updated information will also be available on facebook “Uni Bridge”. The official Championship pages, with a lot of additional information can be found byclicking here

The cost for this event amounts to 60 Euro/day per student for full board: entry fee and accommodation included.

We really hope to see you in France! For all questions, please contact me: geert.magerman@telenet.be

Best Regards,
Geert Magerman
