4th WORLD YOUTH BRIDGE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP
20th – 29th August 2015

In cooperation with the Croatian Bridge Federation & Opatija Bridge Association

We are very pleased to confirm that the 4th World Youth Bridge Open Championship will be held at:

Milenij Grand Hotel 4 Opatijska Cvijeta
Opatija, Croatia

Format of the Championship

The Championship consists of three events: World Pairs Championship – World Teams Swiss/KO Championship – World Teams BAM Championship.

Right to enter

The Championship is open to all players born on or after 1st January 1990 (Juniors & Girls) or born on or after 1st January 1995 (Youngsters) or born on or after 1st January 2000 (Kids) in good standing with their own NBOs. Teams and Pairs must be made up of players from the same NBO.

NBOs may send as many teams or pairs as they wish.

In the event that an NBO is not able to arrange its own national representative team or pair, players may play with eligible partners/team mates from other countries of the same Zone and will play as representatives of that Zone.
To be eligible for participation in the 2015 World Youth Open Bridge Championship all participants must comply with the WBF Laws and Rules & Regulations.

Rules & Regulations – Systems Policy

The Rules & Regulations, including the Disciplinary Code, will be published, together with the Systems Policy, on the WBF website.

Pairs Registration     Thursday 20th August (starting 10.00 hrs)
Opening Ceremony   Thursday 20th August at 19.30
Pairs Championship From      Friday 21th to Sunday 23rd August
    (Prize-giving at 19.00) 
Teams Swiss/KO Championship   From Monday 22nd to Friday 28th August
    (Prize-Giving at 19.30)
Teams BAM Championship   From Wednesday 26th to Saturday 29th August
Prize-giving & Closing Ceremony   Saturday 29th August at 19.30 hrs.
     

Registration of Pairs and Teams
The entries to the Pairs and Teams Championship must be submitted electronically, via the WBF website (not by email) at

and should be made before 1st July 2015 wherever possible. Entries of pairs will be accepted later provided there is sufficient space at the venue. The website will be open for registration from 1st April 2015. Registration for teams composed of players who played the Pairs World Championship and for teams eliminated from the Swiss/KO World Championship may be made on site.

Entry Fees
The entry fees are:
World Pairs 200 € (Euros)
World Swiss/KO Teams Championship 750 € (Euros)

Teams from Swiss/KO will drop in the World BAM Teams Championship. Entry is free of charge for the teams coming from the Swiss/KO, otherwise the entry fee is 400 € (Euros)

Hotel Accommodation
The following rates per person per day have been arranged and include full board accommodation:

At Royal Hotel
• Single room € 120,00
• Double room € 95,00
At Grand Hotel 4 Opatijska Cvijeta
• Single room € 105,00
• Double room € 81,00
• Triple room € 76,00
At Hostel Link Lovran
• Single room € 75,00
• Double room € 62,00
• Triple room € 55,00

It has been agreed that the lunches and dinners will be served at Grand Hotel 4 Opatijska Cvijeta, while the breakfast will be served at the respective hotels.

The above mentioned rates are valid for the participants and their companions also from one week before and up to one week after the event.

Free bus tickets (at least 4 round trips each) from Opatija to Lovran and back (10 mns bus).for all the person accommodated at Hostel Link Lovran from0 8.00 to 24.00 for the entire period of their stay and in any case their transportation from the Hostel Link Lovran to the Venue and back is guaranteed in the above mentioned period.
