 Promoting Junior Bridge:

From long ago the authorities of the WBF, EBL, ACBL, USBF, etc … etc … and all NBO of all countries in the world have as one of its main goals to attract more young people to bridge .

One of the excellent initiatives since few years ago and maybe still not enough widespread is the group of BBO Juniors:

TUESDAY  2PM NEW YORK TIME

TOURNAMENT PLAY WITH THE EXPERTS

  • Vdoubleu’s Pairing Table opens at 1:20 pm; sign up no later than 1:45 pm.
  • A Mentor will be assigned to play with you.
  • The tournament is 10 boards with a Hand Analysis Table after, hosted by Andrew Gumperz, world class bridge player and teacher.

WEDNESDAY 11AM NEW YORK TIME

TEACHING TABLE

  • Announcements are made early in the day so you can sign up to play.
  • Experts  play two boards with each junior.
  • After each board, chat is opened to the table to allow a thorough review of the hand.  All questions and comments from the specs are addressed.

If you are a Junior and wish to participate: No need to have any special level, from very beginners, because the idea is to learn the game, this are like free, fun bridge lessons. You only need to have a Nick in BBO and enter to sign up before one expert is assigned to you as a mentor. [ilink url=”http://www.bridgebase.com/”]BBO[/ilink]
