Bending the Spoon…in the European Champions Cup 2013

In a scene in the movie The Matrix you could hear the next dialogue:

BOY: Dont try and bend the spoon that’s imposible. Instead, only try to realize the truth.
NEO: ¿What truth?
BOY: There is no spoon.
NEO: ¿There is no spoon?
BOY: Then you will see that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself .

Board 36 Round 4 European Champions Cup 2013, in most of the tables N became declarer in 3NT.

At the table where N / S were Bocchi-Madala, after West Pass Bocchi opened with 2NT.

East passed and Madala said 4 (in their Convention card you can read: 4/= 6+/ good suit, slam try) …as he was over the 3NT level he was inviting to a club slam. Bocchi accepted with a 4 bid showing an even number of keycards, and Madala closed with a 5 saying if you have only two its not enough for slam, Bocchi con 4 keycards decided to play 6.

The hand makes because of the singleton K, the A is after the king, declarer cant go wrong…is like the Matrix arranged the cards positions…

Dont try to bend the spoon…bend the space…

The board gave Team Allegra 12 IMPs when at the other table the contract was a plain 3NT made 6.
