This year the top of the South American Open Category Bridge Ranking is occupied by the Grandmaster Joaquin Pacareu (CHI) with 530 ranking points. Thanks to victories in the South American Team Championships 2008/2009/2010/2012 and the 2008/2011/2014 Pairs Championships for the first time in many decades, Joaquin achieved to dethrone the Brazilian Grand Masters from that place of honor and has become the first player from Chile to hold this position. Bravo Joaquín!.

Playing with the Grandmaster Benjamin Robles (CHI), in the recent years and thanks to these seven southamerican titles that they won playing together, have demonstrated that at the moment they are the best bridge partnership in South America. Benjamin Robles (CHI) is today in the second place of the South American Open Ranking with 513 ranking points. Bravo Benjamin!

Third is the Granmaster Miguel Villas Boas (Flag_brazil-clearBRZ) who lost two places from his last year position.
