One of the innovations at these championships is the introduction of a second Bulletin that is ‘live’ which enables us to present breaking news and spectacular deals long before the publication of the Daily Bulletin.
To access it, visit: wbchampbulletin.org. If you would like to make a comment, ask a question or submit an article to the Bulletin email it to:

The Hospitality Desk (located on the first floor) will be happy to recommend restaurants you might like to visit. The Madras Pavilion in the hotel offers a terrific dinner buffet.
Yesterday one of the Editors wore the traditional Dhoti Kurta. When it was explained that the studs at the top are interchangeable and that it is quite common for them to be made out of gold or diamonds he commented – ‘I’ll take the diamonds’.
Naturally a number of pictures were taken (no doubt you will be able to find one on the Internet) and as a result a volunteer was requested to pose in the Loin Dhoti favoured by Mahatma Gandhi . Jan van Cleeff stepped forward – now all we need to do is find a photographer.
As you may be aware bridgewinners.com is conducting a poll to see who is favoured to win the Championships. At the end of round 4 Brian Senior posed the question – ‘has any team currently received more votes than it has won victory points’.
On Sunday evening we went in search of the Australian Women’s team to obtain a photograph for a report on their second round Venice Cup match. Having located them we asked who had played, to which they replied ‘None of us’.
Today an attack was made against the WBF server, which meant the site was unavailable for some time. It is not clear from where the attack originated.
