On 26-29 August at the Centrum Konferencyjno-Wystawiennicze “Pałac Prymasowski” in Warsaw, with the support of Casino Palace and Bridge24.pl, was held the 2014 “Palace Cup” tournament.
The main event, was played August 27-29, it was an invitational tournament TOP-16 played by many of the most famous world stars: Balicki, Bertheau, Bessis, Brink, Buras, Drijver, Dubinin, Gromov, Kwiecień, Muller, Narkiewicz, Nystrom, Pszczoła, de Wijs, Zia, Bilde…etc.

The prizes for the TOP16 were: 1st place $ 10000 2nd place $ 6000 3rd place $ 4.500 4th place $ 3000 5th place $ 2500 6th place $ 2000…

In Parallel was played a TOP-28, open for invited and willing to play pairs. The winners were Latteria Tinis-Steinpol I Rzepin.
On 26.08, was held a PRO-AM tournament, where the players of TOP-16 played with bridge lovers. Pairs were completed during the auction where it was possible to buy the partner from the world top.
This event was won by: Simon de Wijs (NED) and Grzegorz Darkiewicz-Moniuszko (POL) with 65.19 %.
Second arrived Rafał Jagniewski (POL)-Krzysztof Hordyński (POL) and third Jacek Pszczoła (POL)- Adam Wyszyński (POL).
