The Zenari team-  C. del Bridge Trieste (Fabio Zenari, Emanuela Capriata, Antonio Cuccorese, Angela De Biasio, Nino Masucci, Silvia Urbani) is the new owner of the Italian Mixed Teams Championship title. With a final result of 108,14 VP, the Friuli representative prevailed in a tight battle for the top of the podium, after two bronze medals (2012 and 2013) and a fifth place in 2014.

The Silver Medal went to the team Agrillo – S. Stanze Civiche (Cinzia Agrillo, Michele Cammarata, Eria Franco, Anna Rita Gibertoni, Giacomo Percario, Roberto Saltarelli). With a 98,72 VP, the team from La Toscana, they arrived to the Categoria Excelencia last year, were immediately protagonists of the top flight.

Third, with 97.32 VP the team Failla –  Bridge Villa Fabbriche (Giuseppe Failla, Monica Aghemo, Andrea Buratti, Ornella Colonna, Francesca Carnicelli, Luigi Ligambi), in the final round faced the winner, Zenari with double impact.

The immediate and spontaneous hug between the two teams at the end of the match, is a proof that players do not testify their value only at the table, they testify that sportsmanship prevails over the natural and understandable desire to win.

Abandoned, at least for next year, the category Excellence: Persiani-C del Bridge Bologna e Biagiotti-Università del Bridge. Both teams were promoted last year.

Not only in the Categoria Excelencia, but also in many other series, the last day was decisive. Thanks to the formula that as always reserve the decisive matchs for the final round, and the new VP scale in force since 2014.

These are the teams who were promoted this year to the highest category: Lanzarotti-Bridge Breno (Massimo Lanzarotti, Cristina Golin, Andrea Manno, Gabriella Olivieri, Francesca Piscitelli, Romain Zaleski), Tessitore – Nuovo Bridge Insieme (Nicla Tessitore, Anna Brucculeri, Stefania Maggiora, Francesco Marani, Giulio Mundula, Carlo Romani) e Polledro – Tennis Club Genova 1893 (Roberto Polledro, Anna Bozzo, Costanza Forni, Enrico Guglielmi, Antonella Soresini), Serie A winners.
