Campionati under 26 e Master under 36
This year the FIGB (Italian Bridge Federation) opened two new events, dedicated to young adults. The Under-26 Italian Championships: Pairs and Teams and the Master Under-36: Pairs and Teams.
The Under-26 Italian Championships
Under 26 Pairs Championship
In the expert category, the new champions are Laura Di Giulio & Nicola Barindelli, 20 and 22 years old from Salerno and Milano, respectively, they achieved their first place with the 59,88%. In the Beginners Category, with 69,05%, the champions are, Federico Lombardi & Linda Seregni from Milano, both of them 22 years old.
Under -26 Teams Championship
The teams were divided into two categories experts and beginners, they played eight rounds of eight boards each. Eleven teams played in the Expert field, the gold went to Alessandro Calmanovici, Margarita Chavarría, Enea Montanelli y Roberto Sau.
The Under 26 Beginners Team Gold was for Emilio Benenati, Michela Lázaro, Marta Milia and Irene Montalti.
Master Under-36 Championships
Teams
The first Master Under-36 Teams Championship went to Giuseppe Delle Cave, Arrigo Franchi, Alessandro Gandoglia y Matteo Montanari, representing the from Breno Bridge Association.
Second: John Donati, James Percario (de 17 y 21 years old), Michela Guardados and Giulia Scriattoli. Bronce: Margaret Costa, Andrea Failla, Riccardo Locatelli and Elena Ruscalla.
Pairs
Franchi-Gandoglia won the Pairs Master U36.
