Three ACBL-based squads won medals at the 14th World Mind Games in Lille, France, held Aug. 9–23.
In the Seniors series, the U.S. squad took home the silver medal. The team members are Richard Schwartz, Lew Finkel, Neil Chambers, John Schermer, Steve Landen, Sam Lev and npc Phillip Alder.
In the World Transnational Mixed Teams, the gold medal went to a multi-national squad: Reese Milner, Gabriella Olivieri, Petra Hamman, Hemant Lall, Jacek Pszczola and Meike Wortel.
The silver medalists from Canada are Daniel Korbel, Judith Gartaganis, Nicholas Gartaganis, Darren Wolpert, Hazel Wolpert and Linda Wynston.
