The 4th World Youth Open Bridge Championships organised by the World Bridge Federation in cooperation with the Croatian Bridge Federation & Opatija Bridge Association will be held in Opatija, Croatia from 20th – 29th August.
The Championships will be held at the Milenij Grand Hotel4 Opatijska Cvijeta, Opatija, Croatia.
The Championships consist of three events:
• World Pairs Championship
• World Teams Swiss/KO Championship
• World Teams BAM Championship
The Championship is open to all players born on or after 1st January 1990 (Juniors & Girls) or born on or after 1st January 1995 (Youngsters) or born on or after 1st January 2000 (Kids) in good standing with their own NBOs. Teams and Pairs must be made up of players from the same NBO. Players must be members (not necessarily nationals) of the Federation through which they enter.
NBOs may send as many teams or pairs as they wish.
