From Thursday, November 1 to Sunday, November 4 was held in the usual location of the Palazzo dei Congressi in Salsomaggiore, the 2012 Italian Mixed Teams Championships.

The Title of the Mixed Teams remain in Turin. Nardullo transfers it to Allegra Lavazza: Maria Teresa Lavazza, Giorgio Duboin, Cecilia Rimstedt, Norberto Bocchi, Marion Michielsen and Agustin Madala are the new Italian Champion in the category. Silver Fornaciari: Carla Gianardi, Ezio Fornaciari, Cristiana Morgantini, Lorenzo Lauria, Monica Buratti, Carlo Mariani. Third in the podium is Zenari:Silvia Urbani, Fabio Zenari, Emanuela Capriata, Nino Masucci, Angela De Biasio, Antonio Cuccorese. Agustin Madala commented about the event: «Half of the championship, all very even. There are 20 VP between the first and the last, all very open.»
Before the first playing day
130 teams will participate, 10 of them will participate in the Excellence category Championship. The winner of this Championship will be the 2012 champion 2012, the last three teams recede to Serie A.
The Serie A is divided into three groups of 10 teams each and the winning team of each of the three groups will be promoted to Excellence, and the last three in each group would retreat to Serie B.
In Serie B teams are divided into 9 groups of 10 teams each. The winning team of each group will be promoted to Serie A, and the last four in each group would retreat to serie Promotion.
In all series each team plays the other 9 in their group with a barometer formula: in the 1st round will meet teams from the same city or region, if any. In each of the subsequent rounds the team ranked first plays against the last, if the match has already been played, the first in the standings play against the team positioned lower in rank against which it has not yet played.
