This is a Bidding Test published in the first Championship Bulletin. You will be able to compare your answer with some of tyhe best italian and french players:

The bidding:

After thinking your answer. Below you can find some of the best players from Italy and two players from France answers:

2spade suit, if it is Forcing if not 3diamond suit.

2spade suit for us is forcing, but I like very much 3club strong… This is what I like…although my son Thomas is used to double without points and majors!!!

2spade suit. I dont know in Italy but for us in France is forcing, 2diamond suit is autoforcing, partner cant pass over 2heart or 2spade suit after his partner’s double. If you dont play this agreement, I would say 3club, this tends to deny 4 cards majors. So I say 2spade suit, waiting my partner answer to it.
 V. GiubiloV. Giubilo  2spade suit. I think that 2spade suit doesn’t deny 5 clubs, but 3club denies 4 card majors.

3club. For me, 2diamond suit promises something different. A possible 3spade suit, afterwards, will show strength, if not I would have bid 2spade suit. If someone plays 3club NF…he will be obliged to say 3diamond suit to force to game, making the description more laborious.

3diamond suit. I know, showing a good hand with majors, with some risk I prefer to force immediately, presumably the bidding will continue (3spade suit over my partner’s 3heart…). For me, 2diamond suit should promise a next bid – although it could be made with a hand with de 8-9 honor points with a nice distribution – but to only say 2spade suit with this beauty with out a special agreement …

3club. Initially I thought 3diamond suit, but I choose to say 3club, it is also forcing to game (I have a strong hand, if not I woyuld have say 2club instead of double) Over my partners answer I mention my spades.
