In Italy, from  Saturday April 28 to Tuesday May 1 2012,  in the traditional Palazzo dei Congressi di Salsomaggiore, the best italian teams are playing the Open and Ladies Italian Teams Championships in the Categories: Eccellenza, Serie A and Serie B.  In the Eccellenza Category teams will compete for the title of “Champions of Italy”: 10 teams in the Open and 10 teams in the Ladies, while the last three places will recede to Serie A.
After de first RR round Lavazza Team was second and had to play in the second round against Bongiovanni (5th). Lavazza finally won by 22 to 8 VP.

This is the first hand from Lavazza-Bongiovanni match.

With no opps intervention, Duboin-Sementa used all their artillery to arrive to the cold slam.
